about the project
Securing Private 5G in Industry 5.0
The CyberShield project transforms a private 5G experimental testbed into an advanced threat intelligence, autonomous Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and evidence-preserving cyber-resilience validation platform. Designed for use in industrial environments, the project ensures operational continuity and regulatory compliance with NIS2 and GDPR for essential entities in the manufacturing, energy, transport, and water sectors

PROJECT OUTCOMES
Results & Future Impact
-

The CYberShield project is currently in progress. Its results will focus on the development, integration and validation of a cybersecurity framework for private 5G and Industry 5.0 environments, aligned with the needs of NIS2-regulated sectors such as manufacturing, energy, transport and water. Expected outcomes include the integration of CYberSynchrony tools within a private 5G testbed, the deployment of AI-driven anomaly detection and Agentic-AI Root Cause Analysis capabilities, controlled adversarial validation scenarios, evidence-preserving incident response mechanisms, and sector-specific cybersecurity strategies. The project will also produce regulatory and risk assessment outputs, a platform integration report, validation results, a demonstration video, a final results report, and dissemination and exploitation material. Final results will be published as the project progresses.
